Over the next several months, we will gradually transition your service to RCN Business. While this is occurring, there is no action required on your part.

FAQs Regarding Transition to RCN Business

What will change for WOW! Business customers as a result of these sales?

As we work to transition services to RCN Business over the next several months, we will continue to support all WOW! Business services customers with super-fast, reliable services and professional customer care. Our teams will work to establish plans for the transition of customers to RCN Business and will keep you informed of any changes. We do not currently have any plans to make any changes to your services immediately following this acquisition. However, RCN is conducting a comprehensive review during the transition period, and will provide you notice of any changes to your services, rates, and conditions should they occur.

My business is in one of the impacted service areas. Am I still a WOW! Customer?

Upon close of the transaction on or about November 1, 2021, WOW Business customers in Chicago, IL, Evansville, IN & Anne Arundel, MD will become RCN Business customers. During this transition period, you’ll continue to have access to your account representative who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Will my service contract be honored?

If the contract is exclusive to the Chicago, IL, Evansville, IN or Anne Arundel, MD market, it will transfer automatically to RCN Business on or about November 1, 2021.

Will customers be required to sign a new agreement with RCN Business to replace the current contract?

No. Current WOW! contracts will be honored.

What happens if my contract has already expired?

Service will not be disrupted. Customers will continue to auto-renew or can choose to work with their account team for a new contract as normal.

What happens if I have a multi-market contract?

We intend to honor all core business provisions and we will work with customers as necessary to get new contracts in place for the locations that fall into the RCN Business service area.

Will my day-to-day contact at WOW! change? Who should I contact with questions about the transactions?

Your WOW! team is still available to provide award-winning customer service via your Account Manager.

Will the customer's business be impacted with any downtime during the transition?

We will be working hard to provide a seamless transition and services should not be impacted outside of normal maintenance windows.

Will my customer service experience be impacted?

RCN Business and WOW! share a customer-centric culture so you can expect the very best in customer care and support.
